Threshold Circles are a free monthly gathering for Brooklyn's expecting and new parents. No agenda, no pitch. Just real company and a little holding in a season that rarely offers either. Babies always welcome.
First circle: Saturday, October 10 · 11:00 to 12:15
A small group, a warm room, and an hour where nobody is performing. We sit together, we let the nervous systems settle, and we talk honestly about what this stretch is actually like, the parts the highlight reels leave out. There is a little ritual to mark the threshold you are crossing, because crossing into parenthood deserves to be witnessed. That is the whole thing.
It is not a class, it is not therapy, and it is definitely not a sales event. It is the company you were supposed to have all along. Babies are always welcome.
Expecting parents at any stage. Brand-new parents still finding their feet. Anyone deep in the fourth trimester, or just crossing into it. You do not have to be a client. You do not have to have it together. You just have to show up.
Each circle is capped at eight to ten and RSVP only, no walk-ups, since it meets in a private home. Join the list once and we'll let you know every month when a new date is up.
I am the founder of The Parenthood Project, and I have spent more than ten years and over 250 families inside birth, postpartum, and infant sleep, all of it biology-first and nervous-system-led. I host these circles because the version of new parenthood this city hands people is too fast and too lonely, and a monthly room of honest company is a small, real repair. If you ever want more than a circle, you will know where to find me. But the circle asks nothing of you.
Add your name once, and we will let you know every month when a new date is up, so you can RSVP for the ones that work for you. The first circle is Saturday, October 10, and your free field guide, What's Actually Normal: A Field Guide to Sleep in the First Five Years, arrives right away as a thank-you for joining.
